CookieRun: Crumble August 13 Update — Cool Mint, Rune Crystal Dungeon & Events

The first CookieRun: Crumble content update shipped on August 13, 2026, exactly two weeks after launch. It adds one new Cookie, a new daily dungeon, three events and a long list of quality-of-life fixes — the first step of the two-week update cadence Devsisters promised.

New Cookie: Cool Mint Cookie (SSR)

Cool Mint Cookie is an SSR Water Cookie who drills into the ground, knocks enemies away while dealing damage, and summons skulls from the excavated ground. She is available on the new SSR pickup banner. See her full skill and team guide and her database page.

New Daily Dungeon: Rune Crystal Dungeon

A brand-new daily dungeon where you face off against the White Sugar Guardian. Completion rewards grant Rune Crystals, the material needed to craft Sugar Runes for your Cookies' stats — so this dungeon is the long-term answer to "should I roll Sugar Runes or save them?"

Events

• King Choco Drop's Roulette — complete event missions to earn Roulette Tickets, spin the Roulette and collect rewards. Unused tickets are converted to Coins at a set value when the event ends.
• 7-Day Check-in Event — log in daily to collect currencies and materials, and eventually meet Pomegranate Cookie.
• Rune Crystal Dungeon Conquest — a launch-event-style conquest for the new dungeon, with extra rewards for completing missions.

Improvements

• Bulk Clear Guide Quests — once you clear 30+ stages' worth of Guide Quests, you can bulk-clear the rest.
• Bulk Level Up Your Lineup — level up all Cookies in your active lineup at once.
• Auto Bake output up to 20 — max gear pieces per Auto Bake session raised from 8 to up to 20 depending on Oven Level.
• Resolve stat boosts buffed — after Resolve Lv.101, ATK/DEF now gain +2 per level (was +1) and HP gains +20 (was +10).
• Arena resume after forced close — continuing an Arena match now resumes where you left off instead of restarting.
• Detailed stat values — Accuracy, Evasion, Focus, Resistance and Skill Haste now display decimals, fixing rounding mismatches.
• Summon stat display — summon-related ATK is now shown with the multiplier already applied (actual values unchanged).
• Daily Rank Reward timing — Crumble Dungeon daily rank rewards now settle at 12:00–13:00 (GMT+9), aligned with maintenance.
• Arena refresh warning — a pop-up now warns you about the Crystal cost of refreshing opponents.
• Collection improvements — when only Pet Collection rewards are available, the Collection opens directly on the Pet tab.
• Cookie Level Reset tutorial — early-game tutorial now explains how to reset a Cookie's Level.

Bug fixes

• Skill AMP now applies to Milk Cookie's Crunchy Strong Pediatrician (ATK), Rockstar Cookie (Shield) and Ion Cookie Robot (Shield), and to Summons' ATK/DEF/HP.
• Espresso Cookie's icon changed to match his design.
• Pickup Gacha probability display fixed for Gacha Levels 1–3.
• Fixed black/partially black screens on certain devices.
• Fixed Cookies with two Synergies not appearing when filtering for one.
• Fixed inactive Presets showing by default in the Cookie tab, and Presets resetting after Daily Dungeons.
• Grapevine Cookie's skill renamed from "Overly Rich Wine" to "Overly Rich Juice".

Flame of Bravery expiry

Flames of Bravery (used in Oven Wanderer Cookie's special gacha) convert to Crystals at 1 Crystal per Flame and arrive in your mailbox after August 27, 2026 13:00 (GMT+9). Spend or accept the conversion before then.

What to do first after the update

1. Log in daily for the 7-day check-in rewards.
2. Unlock and farm the Rune Crystal Dungeon — Rune Crystals fund your Sugar Rune crafting.
3. Grab the Roulette tickets from event missions before they expire.
4. If you pull Cool Mint Cookie, check her best team builds.
