CookieRun: Crumble Combat Power Guide — How Power is Calculated
How CookieRun: Crumble combat power works: the stats that drive it, level and star grade scaling, gear, synergies and pets — and how to raise power fast.
Combat power in CookieRun: Crumble looks like a simple number, but it is built from several systems: base stats, level scaling, star grade multipliers, gear, synergies and pets. Understanding how it works tells you exactly where to invest for the fastest gains.
The core formula
Each Cookie's power comes from its stats, weighted and scaled:
Power ≈ (ATK + DEF × a small % + HP × a small %) × level multiplier × star grade multiplier
Attack contributes the most, which is why damage dealers usually show the highest power on a team.
Base stats decide the ceiling
Every Cookie has a base stat profile — ATK, DEF, HP, Crit Rate, Crit Damage, Accuracy, Avoidance, Focus, Resist and Speed. The Cookie database shows every stat, and each profile's Stats Analysis section ranks the Cookie against its own role, so you can see whether a unit is attack-heavy or a pure tank.
Level scaling
Levels multiply your Cookie's effective stats. Because the multiplier applies to the whole stat package, leveling a high-base-stat Cookie gives more power per EXP than leveling a low-base-stat one. That is why the beginner advice is to concentrate levels on one main team instead of spreading them.
Star grade scaling
Star grades apply their own multiplier, and higher-rarity Cookies scale more aggressively. A TSSR Cookie like Oven Wanderer Cookie gains more from each star than a common Cookie, so starring your best units is the highest-return investment once they are leveled.
Gear adds immediate power
Oven gear slots directly into a Cookie's stats. Even without perfect sub-stats, equipping a higher-power piece is an instant boost. The Oven's level controls gear quality, so stoking it early pays off across your whole roster.
Synergies and pets multiply the total
Power on the profile is just the base — the real team strength includes:
- Active synergies — team-wide bonuses that stack
- Pet passives — permanent buffs like Attack, Crit and synergy boosts
Two teams with identical displayed power can differ hugely in practice. The Team Builder accounts for power, role balance and active synergies together, which is closer to the real in-game strength.
Fastest ways to raise power
- Level your main damage dealer — biggest per-resource gain
- Star up your core Cookies — permanent multiplier, no upkeep
- Raise the Oven and equip gear — instant power on every Cookie
- Raise Resolve Attack — account-wide damage that affects every battle
- Activate more synergies — free team strength from lineup choices
- Equip matching Pets — passive buffs that stack with everything
Combat power FAQ
Why is my displayed power higher but my team loses? Displayed power ignores synergies and battle positioning. Check your synergy count and tank survival before assuming the number is wrong.
Does power matter for Arena matchmaking? It is one factor, but teams with better synergy setups often beat higher-power opponents. Pick fights carefully and set both attack and defense teams.
What is the best stat to raise first? Attack, via levels, Resolve and gear. Most early walls are damage checks.
Do Pets add to displayed power? Pet effects are separate from a Cookie's own power, but they contribute to real team strength through their passives.
Want to see your team's real strength? Build it in the Team Builder, then check the tier list to confirm your carries are worth the investment.
