Pinot Noir Cookie arrives with the August 27 update as an SSR Dark Supporter — and she is the team-enabler of the patch. Her kit is built around one job: making your damage dealers fire their skills more often.

Pinot Noir's skill, Shadow Bind, does three things at once:

• Shadow bullet chain — fires a chain of shadow bullets at up to three low-HP enemies, dealing damage.
• Heal cut — reduces incoming healing on hit enemies, useful against heal-heavy bosses.
• Ally protection + Rapid Fire — shields allies from Lift (knock-up) and grants the Rapid Fire synergy to the team.

The Rapid Fire grant is the headline: teammates that benefit from casting skills more often (multi-strike attackers, Chain units) get a big damage jump while the synergy is active.

Synergy: Chain (consume) + Rapid Fire (supply)

Pinot Noir consumes Chain and supplies Rapid Fire, which makes her flexible:

• Rapid Fire recipients: multi-strike and Chain attackers like Ion Cookie Robot, or any unit whose skill loops quickly.
• Chain providers for her own synergy: Dark Cherry Cookie, Grapevine Cookie and other Chain units.

Best teams for Pinot Noir Cookie

• Rapid Fire core: Pinot Noir + a multi-strike attacker (e.g. Ion Cookie Robot) + a Chain provider to activate her own synergy.
• Anti-heal boss comp: Pinot Noir + heavy single-target DPS for bosses that self-heal.
• Dark team: pair her with Dark damage dealers — she keeps them alive with Lift protection while amplifying their skill uptime.

She is less flashy than Brightseeker but arguably more valuable long-term: a support that changes how often your whole team casts is an investment that keeps paying off as your roster grows.

Is she worth pulling?

If your account already has strong damage dealers, yes — she is the missing piece that turns a good team into a skill-spam machine. New players with a thin roster should prioritize Brightseeker first.
