CookieRun: Crumble September 10 Update — Cherry Cola Cookie
The September 10 update adds Cherry Cola Cookie, two new events and raises the Fame level cap to 360. Here is everything in the patch and how to prepare.
CookieRun: Crumble shipped its third content update on September 10, 2026. Devsisters' official notes list three headline changes — a new playable Cookie, two new events and higher Fame and Laboratory levels — and the game files add several quality-of-life upgrades on top. Here is the full breakdown.
Cherry Cola Cookie joins the roster
Cherry Cola Cookie (SSR, Water, Attacker) is the headliner of the patch and brings the roster to 74 Cookies.
| Detail | Value |
|---|---|
| Rarity | SSR (Super Special Rare) |
| Element | Water |
| Role | Attacker |
| Base ATK / DEF / HP | 146 / 85 / 2,635 |
| Skill | Tart Cherry Slash |
| Synergy consumed | Rapid Fire, Volley |
| Synergy supplied | None |
Her skill, Tart Cherry Slash, swings her twin Fizzy Swords for area damage. After enough repeated hits she charges straight at the highest-ATK enemy on the field and damages everything around it — a kit that performs well in boss stages, where one high-ATK target anchors the wave.
Because she supplies no synergy, she needs partners to switch her on. Rapid Fire comes from Grapevine Cookie (R), Orange Cookie (SR) or Pinot Noir Cookie (SSR); Volley comes from Cheesecake Cookie (R), Herb Cookie (SR) or Tiger Lily Cookie (SR). Grapevine Cookie plus Cheesecake Cookie is the cheapest way to activate both at once, while Pinot Noir Cookie with Tiger Lily Cookie is the strongest.
Her dedicated banner, the Cherry Cola Cookie Pick-up Gacha, guarantees the pick-up at the pity threshold. Pick-up points reset when the event ends, so if you are close to pity, finish it before the event closes.
Two new events
Cherry Cola Cookie's Here! (Pick-up Event) is the celebration event attached to her banner. You collect pick-up points while pulling — and the points reset when the event ends, so there is no reason to bank them.
Golden Brown Lucky Dough Bake (Oven Gacha) is the resource event of the patch: bake Gear in the Oven for extra key resources. If you have been sitting on Gear materials, this is the week to burn them.
A 7-Day Check-in Event also runs alongside them, handing out seven days of login rewards.
Fame cap raised to Lv. 360
The Fame track used to end at Lv. 300. The new build contains data for Lv. 360, so 60 account-wide bonus levels were added on top of the old ceiling. If you had already maxed Fame, your daily Fame grind is worth resuming.
Gnome Laboratory research expanded
The Gnome Laboratory research tree grew from 78 to 90 research lines, and Special Research 15 and Special Research 16 were added. In practice that is 19 new research nodes feeding ATK, DEF, HP, crit and element damage upgrades — worth queueing between events, since research runs in real time.
Arena: continuous challenge
The Arena now has a Continuous Challenge (Auto) toggle. The game keeps entering the Arena and fighting until you run out of Tickets, with a confirmation popup warning that auto mode does not prevent losses. For daily quests this removes a lot of tapping.
Chat reports and on-screen preview
This patch adds a full chat report flow — report inappropriate messages or nicknames straight from the chat window, with a daily report limit and a warning that false reports can be penalised. Chat and CookieTalk can also be previewed on the main screen instead of only inside the popup window.
Plating refunds and shop updates
Two compensation mails are worth checking: Returned Resources for Changes to Plating and Unclaimed Rewards due to Quest Reward Changes. If you spent Chocosteel on Plating before the update — or left quest rewards unclaimed — the compensation is already in your Mailbox.
The shop also picks up the usual new-unit packages: the Cherry Cola Cookie Welcome Pack, Pick-up Pack Vol. 1 and Vol. 2, a Cherry Cola Cookie 2★ Pack, plus new-stage and research support packs. None of them are required to progress.
What it means for your account
- Pull if you need a Water attacker with area damage, or you already run Pinot Noir Cookie for Rapid Fire.
- Skip if your Crystal budget is tight and you are saving for the next TSSR banner.
- Do this week: claim both refund mails, queue the new Laboratory research, clear Arena with Continuous Challenge, and spend Oven Gear while the Lucky Dough event runs.
Our Cookie database and tier list are already updated with Cherry Cola Cookie, and the full stat and synergy numbers live on her Cookie profile.
