CookieRun: Crumble's first-week launch celebration includes a login event that gives you a free SSR Cookie Selector — one guaranteed SSR of your choice, no gacha involved. It's one of the best free rewards at launch, so it's worth planning before you tap.

How the selector works

  • You get one copy of the Cookie you choose.
  • If you don't own it yet, it's permanently unlocked.
  • One copy usually isn't enough to raise Star Grade, so for most accounts unlocking a missing Cookie beats taking a duplicate.

Best picks by role

Support (highest overall value)

  • Pomegranate Cookie — Skill Amplification buffs almost every team. Our top priority pick; useful in both PvE and PvP all game long.
  • Milk Cookie — Healing plus a stacking Attack Buff that makes your damage dealers stronger as fights go on. One of the best long-term supports.
  • Toothpaste Cookie — Hybrid healer with extra damage; flexible, slightly behind Pomegranate and Milk Cookie.

Damage dealers

  • Vampire Cookie — The strongest single-target attacker for bosses and elites. Late-game boss teams still use it.
  • Scorpion Cookie — Sustained damage over time that shines in longer story and boss fights.

Tanks

  • Nameless Cake Hound — Team-wide damage reduction and strong survivability; a safe, versatile frontline pick.
  • Ion Cookie Robot — Shields and defensive buffs for the whole party; excellent for high-damage PvE stages.
  • Madeleine Cookie — Higher damage and knockback; performs best in PvP/arena.

Priority list for new players

If you're unsure, this order is a safe starting point:

  1. Pomegranate Cookie — best all-around support
  2. Milk Cookie — healing + offensive buff
  3. Scorpion Cookie — PvE damage over time
  4. Vampire Cookie — boss single-target DPS
  5. Nameless Cake Hound — team tank
  6. Ion Cookie Robot — shield support
  7. Madeleine Cookie — arena tank
  8. Toothpaste Cookie — hybrid support

When a duplicate is worth it

If you already own every important SSR, a duplicate is reasonable — extra copies raise Star Grade and stats. But for a fresh account, unlocking a missing SSR is almost always the better call.
