1. Finish the tutorial with any starter Cookies
The opening stages unlock the Cookie Gacha, Pet Gacha, Oven, and account systems. Do not stress about your starting roster — the game hands you a functional team quickly, and early stages are tuned so almost any lineup clears them.
Your real goal in the tutorial is to unlock auto-battle and auto-reward systems so the account starts earning while you are away.
2. Spend Crystals on Cookie pickup banners first
Crystals are the most valuable currency in the game, and the fastest way to waste them is pulling on every banner. The standard advice:

4. Position matters — drag Cookies during battle
Unlike pure idle games, Crumble lets you drag your Cookies during combat. Grouping them closer to enemies reduces walking time and can mean the difference between a clear and a timeout on strict-timer stages.
Keep fragile shooters and supports behind your tank, and pull the whole group forward only when the stage has clustered enemies.
5. Raise the Oven early for better gear
The Oven crafts gear for your Cookies. Leveling it with the red stoking currency improves the quality of gear you can craft — and better gear is a bigger power spike early than perfect sub-stats.
Set auto-crafting to a practical rarity threshold and equip anything with higher power. Sell weaker pieces to keep the Oven leveling.
6. Understand synergies from day one
Synergies are the hidden multiplier in Crumble. Each Cookie has skill types (Chain, Pierce, Volley, Projectile Speed, Rapid Fire, Range, Duration) that activate team bonuses when matched.
Try to activate at least four synergy types in your main team. A synergy-matched lineup of lower rarity can beat a collection of unbuilt SSRs.
7. Use the Pet Gacha with tickets, not Crystals
Pets provide permanent passive buffs — Attack, Crit, HP, synergy boosts and more — but they only have star grades, no levels. Early pet rates are generous, so spend pet tickets earned from quests rather than premium Crystals.
8. Complete daily and weekly missions
The daily loop is simple but important:
- Claim check-in and mailbox rewards
- Clear repeatable quests and missions
- Spend all dungeon entries, pushing the highest stage you can clear
- Use Arena entries before they cap
- Collect offline hunt rewards and upgrade Resolve
- Check the guild and request help
Consistency here outpaces one big spending session.
9. Push Resolve attack first
Resolve is a broad account-wide upgrade powered by coins. Invest in Attack first — most early walls come from failing damage checks, not from being too squishy. Add defensive stats once your team survives comfortably.
10. Join a guild on day one
Guilds unlock research bonuses, shared help, and guild currency for the shop. Joining early means those passive account-wide buffs start accumulating sooner.
11. Reroll only if you want a head start
