CookieRun: Crumble Best Team Guide — Top Lineups & How to Build Them
The best CookieRun: Crumble teams at launch: story progression, boss damage, farming, Arena and Crumble Dungeon lineups — plus how to build them from your roster.
The "best team" in CookieRun: Crumble depends on what you are doing. A farming lineup and a boss lineup share almost no Cookies. This guide breaks down the strongest team shapes for each game mode and shows how to fill them with the Cookies you own.
The universal team shape
Every good team has the same skeleton:
| Slot | Role | Count |
|---|---|---|
| Frontline | Tanker or durable attacker | 1–2 |
| Damage | Attacker / Shooter | 2–3 |
| Support | Supporter / healer | 1–2 |
| Flex | Debuffer or second support | 0–1 |
Then you add the two multipliers that separate good teams from great ones: active synergies and matching Pets.
Story progression team
Goal: survive waves and beat the boss timer.
- Frontline: Milk Cookie or another durable tank
- Main DPS: Vampire Cookie or Scorpion Cookie (focused damage)
- Secondary DPS: Rye Cookie or Popcorn Cookie
- Support: Pomegranate Cookie (buff) or Macaron Cookie (crit)
- Utility: Devil Cookie (defense reduction)
Boss damage team
Goal: maximize single-target damage before the timer ends.
- Tank: Nameless Cake Hound or Ion Cookie Robot
- DPS 1: Oven Wanderer Cookie (highest raw damage)
- DPS 2: Wind Archer Cookie or Vampire Cookie
- Support: Pomegranate Cookie
- Debuffer: Devil Cookie
Defense reduction matters more here than anywhere else — it turns your damage dealers' output into much bigger numbers.
Farming / wave-clear team
Goal: clear stages as fast as possible for materials.
- Area DPS: Popcorn Cookie, Espresso Cookie
- Wave DPS: Tiger Lily, Orange Cookie
- Attack support: Cheesecake Cookie
- Tank or flex: any durable Cookie you own
Farming teams can drop a healer — speed matters more than survival on repeat runs.
Arena team
Goal: win fights against other players' lineups.
- Tank: Madeleine Cookie (offensive tank with knockback)
- Burst DPS: Cream Soda Cookie, Skating Queen Cookie
- Support: Pomegranate Cookie
- Flex: a second support or counter-pick for common defenses

Crumble Dungeon team
The Crumble Dungeon scores your whole roster, so survival and consistency win.
- Tank: the sturdiest Cookie you have
- Healer: Milk Cookie or Toothpaste Cookie
- Sustain: defensive Pets
- DPS: your best-built damage dealers
Because the dungeon uses the broader roster, investing spare EXP into owned Cookies improves your score.
How to build these teams from your roster
You will not own every recommended Cookie. The practical approach:
- Start from your best Cookie — the highest-tier unit you own
- Open its profile in the Cookie database — the Best Team & Synergy Partners section shows real partners
- Match synergy types — aim for at least four active synergies
- Fill role gaps — tank, healer, damage in that order
- Add a matching Pet from the Pet database
Team building FAQ
What is the single most important team factor? Role coverage plus active synergies. A balanced team with four synergies beats a rarity-stacked team with none.
Should I build around my TSSR Cookie? Yes — Oven Wanderer Cookie and Wind Archer Cookie are the strongest anchors at launch, and their profiles show exactly which partners complete their synergies.
How many damage dealers should I run? Two to three for most content. Drop to one only in extreme boss-fight setups.
Do I need a healer in every team? Not in fast farming, but story, boss and Arena teams should usually include one.
How do I know if my team is actually good? Put it in the Team Builder — it scores power, role balance and synergies together, giving you a real strength estimate instead of a guess.
